If you don't control your thoughts that continue rolling through your brain like a freight train, soon it won't be long before we all know what was going on in your brain for it will be plain to see by all.

The Perfect Storm

During  the perfect storm the Captain of a ship doesn't let the RUDDER do what it wants and flip from left to right and move around by the will of the storm. Instead he keeps a tight reign on the helm which controls the RUDDER and sets his course with the maps he has. Often times this course takes him directly into the storm to get to his destination.

In the same way when the storms of life come to you don't let your tongue (which is like a rudder) start saying things that it shouldn't.Spouting words here and there based on the pressure from the storm around you. But instead, like a skilled Captain chart your course with the map of God's Word follow it to safe harbors.

The Power of Words

Speak to the rock don't hit it!

Numbers 20:8 
"You and Aaron must take the staff and assemble the entire community. As the people watch speak to the rock over there, and it will pour out its water."

In these later days will we as believers learn the lesson that Moses didn't that we need to tap into Gods power and SPEAK things into existence. So today if you are in lack or sickness is attacking your body, don't try to hit the rock and make things happen by your own might but Speak to the problem as God instructed Moses to do and stand in faith believing that he who promised is faithful.

Women are like apples

'Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy.......So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree'

The Parable of the Seed Continued

Last season grubs destroyed my front lawn. I had bare spots all over my lawn. I decided to reseed those areas. I bought an inexpensive bag of seed in a flashy looking bag. It was labeled as Kentucky Bluegrass but actually it was a mixture and when the seed germinated it grew up as crabgrass. This season I pulled out the crabgrass and reseeded but this time I bought seed that was 100% pure bluegrass, it came in a plain brown paper bag and cost twice as much as the original seed. The results were much different I now have a beautiful lawn.

Don't just attend a church because it's flashy and doesn't cost you much to attend, make sure you're attending a church that's sowing 100% pure Word of God into your life and not a mixture of Word and other things. Because it's those other thing that you don't want to grow in your life.

A Load Off My Mind

Many years ago I had encountered a problem about what to do with the tear off shingles I had piled up in my driveway from our garage roof that we had just redone. My first thought was to pile them up in the back off my van and dump them behind an abandon grocery store like everyone else had done with their junk. But I didn't feel at peace about that even though many others were doing that. I didn't have the money to get a dumpster and the regular garbage man wouldn't take this much stuff." Maybe I should dump my stuff behind the grocery store," I thought, "hmmmm, no there's got to be a better way," I said. Then I prayed. Yes it came to that! "Lord what am I going to do here with these nasty shingles full of rusty nails?" The Lord replied quickly to me (not in a audible voice but he spoke to my heart), "Why don't you call the village and ask them?" (Light bulb moment!) I did and they said,"Sure no problem." They sent a dump truck and front loader to scoop up and haul away all that I had at no charge. Only when I have given up my thoughts about how to dispose of this load in an illegal way was the Lord able to help me with what to do about this situation. If you're struggling on how to fix a problem and mess in your life I encourage you to stop trying to fix it alone and seek out God and ask him by his Holy Spirit on what you should do to get things right.

Isaiah 55:8 "My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts" says the Lord "and my way are far beyond anything you could imagine."

The young sprouts of division

Soon the United States Government will be voting on whether to allow the rest of the world to divide up Israel and annex part of their promised land to make a Palestinian state. Going against the promise that God made to Abraham, Isac and Jacob.
The countries that vote along with the annexation of God's promised land will find themselves fighting against God himself. If they vote to divide Israel then division is headed to their households and their countries.

Make no mistake the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ better wake up and stand up united for Israel publicly or division is headed her way too for those who sit by and are silent. As it was in the 1980's when main stream ministers got caught up in sex and power grabs that cost them their Churches and their positions. These men couldn't discern the situation at hand, which caused divisions and a falling away, example: Heritage USA the PTL scandal. So will it be today that many prominent ministers will argue and fight and be divided over what is TRUTH. Since they denied Israel truth with their silence they will be denied the ability to discern right from wrong and bring great division in the body of Christ.

I see recently that many articles are being written by Christian authors exposing other alleged Christian ministers for lack of ethics and for wrong theologies. Examples: God's love doesn't allow people to go to Hell , finding common ground between Christianity and Islam in today's Christian culture. The Church is headed for division if we don't stand up for Israel publicly. The young sprouts of division are starting to show their heads and time is not waiting for us.

The New Washing Machine and The New Man

(Matthew 5:13)  Have you ever wondered what this scripture meant?  People long ago used to get their salt from the sea. They would scape the earth and scoop up the salt but if they dug down too deep and brought too much of the earth with it the salt became diluted and was good for nothing and discarded.You also must keep this in mind as not to be contaminated by this world and  loose your unique taste and valve as a Christian.

Holiday vs Holyday

Holiday is a contraction of holy and day, holidays originally represented special religious days. This word has evolved in general usage to mean any extra special day of rest (as opposed to regular days of rest such as the weekend). Countrywide Holidays stands for when everybody plans for holidays or a break. Under many belief systems, days of rest are necessary for ritual or spiritual rejuvenation.
Holy days originated in the Bible as 7 annual Holy Days the Jews or children of Israel were commanded to keep as instructed by Moses (who received it from the Lord or Yahweh (the Eternal One)). Outlined in Leviticus 23 are the 7 annual Holy Days that were to be kept. The word holi-day has replaced "Holy-Day" in todays English.
Today the U.S. Government is trying to eliminate the word Holiday and replace it with words like recess,relaxation and Winter break.

Dare to go further than Jesus went.

Roots, Shoots and Fruits

So many people want to deal with the symptoms of a problem or the part of the problem that is showing. A Preacher recently visited my Church where he preached on the evils of pornography and all the harm it can cause in someones life. He even told the story on how he had to take a TV out of his hotel room because it had porn running on it. He talked on how Satin uses you watching porn to disqualify you from Godly assignments and that how we need to stay away from porn in our lives. I believe that he only addressed the problem, never going after the root.

Let me give you an example. The head of a dandelion showing was the problem, eliminating the dandelion head to others looked to be the answer but left the source of the problem still in tact the root. The root was still there ready to reproduce another flower.

So what was the root you ask? The root was a thought. That thought started as a seed that was blowing in the winds of life. You have been seeded by a person with this problem, possibly a co-worker , neighbor, family member or the very common way through television.

Tombstone Bride

I believe the intent of this scripture is not remarriage but an allegory on how Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death. Let me explain by retelling the scripture and changing the players.

(example) So then, if the Church lives with or enters another covenant or another set of rules while her God is alive, the Church will be called an adulteress; but if one of them dies, the Church is legally free and does not commit adultery if she follows a new set of rules and enters a new covenant.
