Faith Drain

By Donald Mitchell

A dangerous practice is to hear the answer from Gods word and mental assent to it and do nothing. This makes you feel like you are doing the answer when in fact you're not.

Example: You download load an update to your computer for your virus protection software. You never open the update and apply it to your computer. You boast on how you have the latest software but complain that the virus scan program doesn't work and that you keep getting viruses that damage the computer.

This scenario I would call Faith Drain.
